How much money will you need for retirement? That’s the magical question. What is retirement, anyway? Everyone has their own definition of retirement, but, for most people, it means a time where you can live off your money for the rest of your life.
Over the weekend, I created some extra videos for the new course that will be on Financial Woman this month. The financial future video is one of my favorites, because I take you step by step through my favorite “Retirement Calculator” that I have used for years.
Why do I love this video so much? Because you can find out just how much money you need to create the lifestyle you want. It’s fun to play with, and to see how much wealth you can create just based on your choices. Once you’ve done this, you can decide what steps you want to take to create that lifestyle, or whether you are perfectly on track now.
If you are like many after the financial turmoil of the past 11 years, you may need to make changes in your current financial situation through more proactive investing, increasing income or better spending habits. (As you probably already know, I like to call this “Smart and Savvy Spending”, not “budget cuts” because it’s more fun!)Then you can take those steps to get where you want to be. These are the options I take you thorough in the Create Your Roadmap to Financial Success Home Study CD Course.
Wherever you are now, take a few minutes to think about what you want in your financial future. Check the future value of your current investment accounts to make sure you are on track for financial freedom. Give yourself some time and leeway to create the financial destiny you want. You have to first know where you want to go in order to get there! If you want some help, be on the lookout for my next course that makes this motivating wealth creation step fun and simple!
