Last fall during the launch of Earn Grow Give; Simple Steps to Grow Your Money While Living a Rich Life, I applied $1 for every book sold toward a kiva.org loan. These loans are available to women who qualify globally to provide small business funding.

The amazing thing about these loans is that they are for amounts as small as $25 or $50, yet they literally change the life of a woman and her family. It is such a joy to see the repayments of my kiva loans for (prepare yourself) $5.50 and $ 4.17. Talk about putting things into perspective! I hate to mention the overused latte factor, but it IS a latte…one latte!
