Is there an area of your home you have been longing to remodel? I don’t know about you but I get the thought in my head and then I think about it for years! I notice pictures in remodeling magazines gather ideas and about a million clippings and then I finally move forward after much contemplation. This has been the case with 2 of my bathrooms. I will take it a step further and confess that I actually bought 4 limestone counter tops at an auction several years ago and they have been propped up in my garage awaiting the big step! Every time I see my son lean his skate board against them I screech “Be careful! Those are my bathroom countertops!”

Within a week I had received a bid from him. It was about 30% less than the bids I received years before! He also received a good endorsement from the Better Business Bureau. Commodity prices have come back down and laborers are seeking work. In addition to getting a good price on the work to be done you will help someone who is most likely getting hit hard by the slowdown in our economy. All of this plus low interest rates make it an ideal time for improvement in one of your most important assets: your home.
