The Earn Grow Give Movement will expand financial literacy among women, while also benefiting women who so need our help, both in the U.S. and abroad, in shelters across America, and also those who are in desperate need of tiny loans so they can literally provide food and shelter to their families through kiva.org.
When I was seeking a charity to align with for this event, my eyes filled with tears when I saw a woman who wanted a small loan to buy used clothes so she could get more customers to buy her home made perfume in South America; I stopped looking at that moment because I knew what I was meant to do! Until…someone who counsels women from battered shelters in Kentucky read the first chapter of my book and thought it could help the women she counsels.
