Today I would like to write about some of my favorite magazines to read in order to further your investment knowledge. A couple of my favorites are Forbes and Smart Money. Forbes tends to have informative articles on investing, as well as tax and estate planning. Their annual mutual fund for both open and closed end funds is excellent. They also provide some interesting lifestyle articles. In Smart Money some of my favorite reads are articles such as families retiring early and living off of their investments, angel investing, lifestyle enhancement (which is what investing is really all about!), and of course, the investing. There are many others. I have enjoyed Worth, Inc., and Fortune. And now, at long last, we have wonderful Pink magazine with a female target audience!!! Yea! Pink is a great read, but it tends to be geared more toward the corporate world than investing specifically. Spend an hour at the bookstore and choose the one that best meets your needs, and subscribe to it. I recommend starting with one and actually reading it, over subscribing to 3 and feeling overwhelmed when they all arrive in your mailbox. Before you know it, you’ll be taking it on vacation as a favorite read!
There is also an abundance fantastic websites that provide literally up to the minute news. I’ve spent time researching them so you don’t have to do so. I’ll write about my favorites soon.
You can find links to all of the publications on our Resources Page.
Joyful Investing!
