It’s important to know the four main investment goals or objectives. An objective defines what you plan to accomplish with an investment. I also like the word intention here. What is your intention for this investment? If you intend to produce income from an investment now, then your intention is very different than an intention to have a lump sum in twenty years so you can travel the world in style. Start with your objective when making your investment decisions.
