The end of summer feels a bit like there’s a new year approaching. After years of preparing for a fresh school year in late August, first as a student, and then as a mother, I guess my mind is still conditioned for an unofficial new year in September. It just feels like a great time to pursue new endeavors.
The last days of summer provide the perfect period to take a look at projects that have been on hold due to summer travels and the distracting allure of beautiful sunny days. Summer relaxation usually spurs lots of new and creative ideas and projects that are simply waiting to be acted upon when summer does finally end.
What are opportunities that you have been putting off until fall that could change 2012 if you act on them now? What steps could help you better clarify your financial goals, and get the steps in place to reach them while immensely enjoying the journey?
Remember, after all, that life goals are financial goals and financial goals are life goals, not something that awaits us at the end of our journey.
Take the first step this week to feel like you have a head start on things before fall officially arrives; I always love that jump start feeling, don’t you? It catapults us to keep going until completion.
